The length of the spinning wheel is 24 feet, width 8 feet, the height is 9 inches when opened and 18 inches when closed. The purpose of making this charkha is to convey the idea of Gandhiji as well as Bhojpuri floor painting style and culture to the people. The creation took 15 days.
